We are glad you have found your way to our webpage and hope that in the near future you will find your way to one of our Sunday services or groups.
We know that being a first time quest at a church can create anxiety and hope that we can help with that by addressing some frequently asked questions here.
When Should I Arrive?
A: Our church services begin at 9:30 on Sunday mornings. We typically have coffee set out before the service and many people come between 9:00 and 9:15 to catch up with one another before the service begins.
Where is the Nursery
A: It is worth noting first that our main entrance (the one with the overhang) will typically have a volunteer to help direct you to the nursery if you would like to use it. Should we be shorthanded on the day you visit you can find the nursery by going down the main stairway, which is just to your left when you come in the main entrance. These stairs go to a hallway which will take you past our lower level restrooms to the entrance of our downstairs fellowship room. From this entrance you can see the nursery where a volunteer can help you sign your child in and give you a pager in case your child needs you during the service.
What does Ada CRC have for my family?
A: We have many groups and ministries. Please take some time to look at the other tabs under “Get Connected” to see all the opportunities for different ages and stages.
How long does the service last?
A: Our church services typically last about an hour. This is more of a norm than a rule though as we sometimes have longer services if we have celebrations like students reporting on their missions trip, a baptism or a profession of faith.
What should I wear to church or what is the “normal attire”?
A: We are more concerned about how you are doing than what you are wearing. We hope that you can feel welcome to simply come as you are. Because of this people wear a wide range of clothing and there isn’t really a “normal attire.”
