Welcome to Sunday school at Ada CRC for 2010 – 2011
At Ada CRC our goal is to reach out to children and enfold them into the church, making them feel from the beginning that God loves them and they are very important. Led by the Holy Spirit, Ada CRC will challenge youth to know Jesus Christ, become his disciples, and serve Him daily in all aspects of life.
We invite you to attend Sunday school: a place to come in faith, grow in faith, live in faith and meet kids your own age. Classes meet each Sunday morning from 10:45 – 11:45 September through April.

Prayer
Because we believe that prayer is the foundation for support, each child has a prayer warrior that is dedicated to pray for daily needs and spiritual growth.
Curriculum K- 5th grade uses the Kid Connection material published by Faith Alive Christian Resources. Age appropriate activities help kids connect what they’ve learned to their lives. Kid Connection incorporates the three “R’s – Reformed, Relational and Relevant – so you know kids are learning biblical truths while building relationships and having a great time.”
6th – 8th Grade uses the Walk with Me curriculum published by Faith Alive Christian Resources. Bible stories are presented along with guiding the children to ask, "So what? What does God’s word mean for me now – today?" Sessions are designed to touch the hearts of both leaders and kids and to encourage them to live out their faith.
9th – 12 Grade will study the Heidelberg Catechism as well as participate in intergenerational activities. Our youth will put their faith into action by serving their church and their world through regular participation in worship experiences, service projects, and mission outreach endeavors. They will use the gifts that God has given them and the church has nurtured in them to serve him in all aspects of life.
Youth Offering for 2010 – 2011 K – 12: The Sunday School offering for 2010 – 2011 will go to Hope Rising – lifting students up in the Dominican Republic. This is a joint venture of Worldwide Christian School, Christian Reformed World Missions and Christian Reformed Schools of the Dominican Republic.
